i am so excited for it to finally be HOT!  summer has finally arrived, and i hope it stays for good.  {you never can tell with boone.}

{random fact: it has snowed at least once every single month in boone except for july at some point in history.}

trip to nashville

so this past weekend i went to good ol' nashville, tennessee to visit my sister.  she is precious and is such a trooper at this point in her pregnancy.  it is so cute because she really is ALL BELLY... she doesn't even look pregnant from behind, which is amazzzzing.  because she's carrying 3.

here is a little picture recap from the weekend.  sissy's husband chris was away on a missions trip, so crystal (her bff since she was like 5) and i kept her company, pampered her with food and massages, and laughed our heads off.  it was great.

sorry that a lot of these pics are of food, but much of our weekend revolved around that!  gotta keep the boys fed!

it's a 6 hour drive from nashville to boone, and i love it when the mountains welcome me home. i just had to stop and get this picture.... it was so peaceful!

kristen & chris | wedding day

i love it when i get the chance to photograph the wedding of a friend. kristen was one of my best friends my freshman year in college, and she has one of the sweetest hearts i know. i couldn't imagine a better match for her in chris... he is so fun and he laughs a lot, which is PERFECT for kristen. (you can always find them with smiles on their faces!)

kristen's parents are missionaries in costa rica, so it was so special to have them in the States celebrating. it was so touching when Kristen's dad prayed with the ladies before the ceremony began...
