it's update time!

i know i know, i have been horrible at keeping this blog updated! but maybe you can forgive me because this summer has been crazy busy for me. the first half of the summer was spent living with my mom, running around raleigh, being consumed with my final wedding preparations. sure enough, june 22 finally came and i married my best friend, william ray. we honeymooned in peter island, and then returned to what we now call home : boone, nc. it has been a whirlwind of love and fun!

we have finally settled in our cozy apartment on the side of a mountain, across from a river. it has been wonderful living life with my best friend every day. i've been taking 2 summer school classes which have been a challenge, and will has been working a lot. but we seem to always make time for hikes down to the river and some 24 marathons! i highly recommend married life!

i have been able to focus more on 'nancy ray photography' now that i have most of my ducks in a row. i am so excited to get wedding photos into the hands of the brides and grooms i shot this summer, and i'm excited to share them on this blog! will has been wonderful to put my website together, and he is such an encouragement to me. life is good, and photography is becoming a passion for me now more than ever.

i am excited for what is ahead! i will be posting more regularly now, so stay tuned...
